Our Programs
Nurturing families through transitional housing, education and access
At The Haven Home, we provide up to one year of transitional housing for pregnant and parenting women with children (up to age 5).
With 10 private guest rooms, plus shared spaces for dining, cooking, laundry, work, worship and play, we offer a robust and stable environment for our families.
But there’s more to empowering women and fostering independence than providing a physical home.
That’s why we offer personalized enrichment, healthcare and educational services that can help our mothers and children feel even more comfortable and confident.
Educational programming
The Haven Home offers programs to help parents and their children become more self-aware and self-confident and ensure parents have the resources and tools needed to find and maintain stable housing. Some of these programs include:
Health and nutrition,
Child safety,
Conflict resolution,
Family finances and
Home ownership.
In addition, we provide a range of support services that holistically address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of pregnancy and motherhood.
Free healthcare access
Using our collaborative relationship with local healthcare providers—including some of the nation’s and region’s top hospitals—The Haven Home offers families free access to a team of experienced and compassionate healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, midwives, pediatricians, nurses, nutritionists and mental health professionals.
Providers from Cleveland Clinic and other partners are onsite each week to conduct education and health screenings.
This unique partnership ensures our families receive vital healthcare services, especially identifying those in at-risk populations, and aims to help reduce infant and maternal mortality in our community.
Workforce development
The Haven Home’s workforce development program equips participants with the tools needed not only to survive but to thrive—economically, emotionally and as parents. It transforms a temporary stay into a launchpad for lifelong stability and self-sufficiency.
Moms start with six to eight weeks of training conducted by Westside Catholic Center on topics such as resumes and job search basics, interviewing and professionalism, financial literacy and more. They’ll also have workshops on entrepreneurship, life skills, and health and wellness.
In the next phase, they’ll learn about various online certificate courses, earnings potential and financial aid, or gain support in the job search.

These programs are critical to the long-term success of our mothers and families—but they need your support. Whether you can commit your time or donate your dollars, your assistance can be life-changing.
